Philips MFD6050 Multifunction Fax Machine

As the name suggests, Philips MFD6050 Multifunction Fax Machine is an all in one fax machine which can fax, scan, print and copy. It contains a fax modem which operates with a speed of 33,600 bps. Mono laser technology is used for printing.

About 250 name dial entries can be made in the machine and is provided with an automatic document feeder that feeds about 50 pages. A paper cassette which has a capacity of 250 sheets is provided in the machine. The fax machine has a transmission speed of up to 2.5 seconds; it takes A4 prints and copies or prints up to a speed of 20ppm. It has a print resolution of up to 600×600dpi. The machine is capable of manual duplex printing as well.

Apart from using it as a fax machine, scanning tasks are also carried out by the flat bed scanner with an interpolated scanning resolution of up to 4800 x 4800dpi. Other features of the machine include OCR scanning and ID-Card copy function. It can take up to 1-99 multiple copies. The documents can be reduced or enlarged within a range from 25-400%. A USB 2.0 interface is provided in this machine and direct USB scanning and printing is also possible in the machine. An optional WLAN dongle is placed in the machine.   It also features error correction mode (ECM) and a maximum of 125 page document memory.
